From Hartford, CT:
- Route 2 south to Norwich / Yantic (Route 2 and 32).
- Take Exit 28N onto Interstate 395 north toward Providence, RI.
- ** From Interstate 395, take Exit 18 (Old Exit 83 - Taftville / Occum); at end of exit turn left onto Route 97.
- Follow Route 97 approximately ½ mile to a 3-way stop (Brody's Market will be in front of you).
- At the 3-way stop, turn left, then take the first right (up a hill, around a corner).
- Remain on Route 97 approximately 2 miles to village of Baltic.
- At stop sign turn right, travel over bridge, and continue over railroad tracks, up a hill and around a corner.
- Sayles School will be on your left.
From New Haven and points west:
- Take Interstate 95 north to junction of Interstate 395 north.
- Follow directions above beginning at the asterisk (**)
From Putnam, Worcester and points north:
- Take Interstate 395 south.
