Instructional Interventionist

Associates Degree or
ParaPro Assessment Certification Required
Teaching Certification Preferred but not Required

Seasonal Employment (School Year Only)

Under the supervision of the principal and the direction of a certified staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for regular education children in need of additional academic support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics

  • Ability to work well with children

  • Ability to collaborate professionally and successfully with all staff

  • Possess desire and compassion to work with struggling learners

Experience should include:

  • Activities that involve students and an interest in working with school-age children

  • Working in an instructional environment
